When choosing an HID Xenon Replacement Headlight Bulbs, it is important to know what type of HID bulbs your car requires. If you don’t know the type of bulb, just let us know the year and make of your vehicle via Contact Us message. D1S & D1R are the replacement headlights bulbs for many OEM HID Xenon equipped vehicles. The color temperatures in OEM equipped vehicles are in the 4000K-5000K range, which on some vehicles appears yellowish, so by upgrading the “K”, you will get rid of the yellowish hue.

Luminosity measures the amount of light which is being produced; the higher the number the more light is produced. As you move further up the Kelvin scale the light becomes dimmer, so the best visibility is accomplished by using 3000K, 4300K, 5000K, or 6000K bulbs. But if you are looking to win you the first place in a car show; 8000K, 10000K or 12000K offer a one of a kind hue.
